About us: We are a small, friendly company carrying out one off jobs typically between £500 and £3,000, with occasional larger projects up to £100,000. We are looking for a practical, organised Small Works Manager / Estimator to join our team in Yate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can price small works quickly, and is confident managing multiple jobs from start to finish.

About the role: You will converse with customers, assess and produce quotes from drawings or via site visits, organise labour and materials, and manage jobs through to completion. This is a hands-on role with a mix of estimating, scheduling, customer communication, and job management.

Key duties:

  • Interact with customers and assess small works
  • Produce accurate quotes

  • Schedule and coordinate multiple small jobs
  • Keep jobs on time
  • Maintain simple job paperwork and records

  • Experience in small works, domestic or light commercial

  • Someone with a background in road construction, traffic management or similar would be a benefit
