Join our team as an Associate Co-manufacturing Quality Manager and play a vital role in elevating quality and food safety standards across our external manufacturing partners. You will work closely with plant teams, collaborating with stakeholders across Commercial, Innovation, Logistics, Procurement and other Supply Chain functions to drive continuous improvement using Kellanova's standards. Your efforts will help safeguard our consumers, customers, products and reputation, making a real impact on our business and supporting our commitment to excellence. This is a 12-month fixed term contract, based in our Media City office on a hybrid working basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team, covering our European Market.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Continuous excellence - You will be the primary point of contact for site quality and food safety teams, ensuring our Quality Food Safety programmes, policies and standards are consistently maintained.
- Innovation Projects – Take an active role in innovation projects by pinpointing potential quality and food safety risks, establishing preventative measures, and providing support to plant teams during the rollout of new innovations.
- Annual Quality & Food Safety Plans – Take ownership of tracking plant performance against annual quality and food safety objectives, closely monitoring key indicators such as consumer complaints, environmental checks, and scheduled validations.
- Audit Readiness – Partner with plant teams to prepare for audits by identifying gaps against Kellanova and external standards, and assist in developing robust corrective and preventive actions to address any areas of improvement.
- Root Cause Analysis – Take responsibility for verifying root cause analyses of non-conformities and incidents, support the definition of corrective and preventive actions, and ensure completion of action plans.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- A degree in science or engineering is essential, together with experience in a manufacturing setting within the food industry.
- Familiarity with BRC, ISO, FSSC, or other GFSI standards, along with experience applying them within the food industry.
- The ability to work proactively and independently.
- A valid, full driving licence is required, as occasional travel to sites—approximately twice annually—will be necessary.
