Are you a dynamic and strategic leader with a passion for cultivating a positive workplace culture? We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team and elevate our HR initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will shape our company’s future by crafting and executing innovative HR strategies, boosting employee engagement, and ensuring full compliance with employment laws. This full-time position is based at the Portable Foods plant in Wrexham for a 12-month fixed-term contract. As the HR Manager, you will lead our European Snacks plant’s HR efforts, driving key initiatives to enhance our people and organizational capabilities.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing:
- Talent Management - Lead talent management, succession planning strategy, (right people, right time, right place) process and ensure alignment with the European Kellanova standard, ensuring optimal business results.
- Project Lead – Lead the implementation of supply chain key projects, including network optimization initiatives, and implement or develop new Human Resources strategies to optimize the plant business as needed.
- Organisational Health Assessment - Lead and execute regular Organisational Health Assessments (with support from the Human Resources Delivery) and drive improvements as needed. Own the Organisation Action Plan (OAP) in line with Kellanova Work System requirements.
- People Development – Lead and coach team members regarding development and career options (People Managers, i.e., GL4 and above).
- Employee Engagement – Create an optimal and productive work environment with high employee commitment and engagement.
- Labour Relations – Shape and drive the organisation’s labour relations agenda to support long-term business goals. Lead proactive engagement with employee representatives, influence policy development, and ensure alignment with employment legislation and collective agreements.
We’re Looking for Someone With:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and proven experience in HR Management, processes, and policies.
- Excellent strategic thinking abilities and effective communication strategies with excellent attention to detail with good numerical and strong analytical skills.
- Experience within a Unionised Manufacturing Plant.
