European Statutory Reporting Accountant

We’re seeking a European Statutory Reporting Accountant to join our European Finance team in Media City, Manchester . Your role will be based in Media City Manchester, with an expectation of coming into the office 2-3 days a week. You will focus on building strong relationships with group and local audit teams, ensuring timely audit deliverables, and resolving issues. Your responsibilities include reviewing local financial statements, analyzing variances, understanding root causes, and presenting overviews to Directors. Key Responsibilities Collaborate: Work with local accounting advisors to understand statutory adjustments under local GAAP versus US GAAP, managing the preparation of statutory financial statements. Lead: Ensure final financial statements are approved by Directors and filed according to local legislation. Lead ad hoc tasks and accounting projects as needed. Proactively ensure: Financial statements and local filings are prepared accurately and on time, working closely with professional service providers and auditors. Communicate: Act as the key contact across the business to interpret and implement new accounting standards or complex accounting issues. Initiative: Proactively identify and resolve issues by collaborating across functions and teams within Kellanova and externally. Qualifications Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) from a top 10 practice background. Experience with UK GAAP; knowledge of US GAAP is a plus. External audit experience with up-to-date IFRS / FRS 102 technical skills. Project planning and management skills; experience with US multinationals is beneficial.
