Chapel Attendant

As a Chapel Attendant, you will monitor chapel activity and assist with specific functions and events. It is your job to work with the Chapel Coordinator to ensure the MSU Alumni Memorial Chapel operates in the best way possible while providing outstanding customer service.

Please be aware that this is a year-round position, including the summer. The summer months are the busiest time of the year for this position, so attendance is mandatory at that time.

Pay Rate: $13.00/hr

Required Qualifications

• Be enrolled as a student at Michigan State University (during academic year)
• Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service
• Be a motivated self-starter and able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population
• Be dependable and reliable
• Be able to occasionally work nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in event planning and coordination preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Student who is enrolled in the School of Hospitality.
