Job Function: To ensure the smooth, efficient and cost-effective running of the Field Service Engineers.

Reporting to: Operations Manager. Liaising with: Depot Managers, Field Service Engineers, Customers.

The ideal candidate will be confident communicator with a professional telephone manner, able to handle complaints effectively and develop successful relationships with customers & colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls and providing support and assistance where necessary.
  • Logging and creation of jobs on Syrinx.
  • Allocation of breakdowns to Field Service Engineers in line with KPI’s.
  • Efficiently scheduling routine servicing by Field Service Engineers in line with KPI’s.
  • Ensure all records are maintained on Syrinx.
  • Raise and distribute weekly service reminders to the Depots.
  • Produce weekly depot service reports.
  • Produce monthly management service report.
  • Follow company’s Employee handbook policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties requested by your Manager.

Requirements

  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Good PC skills including use of Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
