Delcoi is looking for an experienced Remote Data Scientist to join their talented team. In this role, you will leverage your data analysis and modeling abilities to drive actionable insights and influence strategic decision-making across various domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, proficiency in statistical analysis, and experience with machine learning techniques.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract useful insights that inform strategic business decisions.
- Develop, validate, and implement predictive models and statistical analyses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable recommendations based on data findings.
- Create data visualizations and reports to present results and insights to non-technical audiences.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of existing data models and implement improvements as necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science methodologies and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role in a quantitative field.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience with databases (SQL) and data processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical findings in a clear and actionable manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working in a remote environment.
- Proficient in English (additional languages are a plus).
