Working Hours: Basic 42.5 hours Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Saturday mornings on a rota basis 7:30am to 12:30pm, Stocktake weekend once a year, Some Bank Holidays
Your Role:
- Deliveries to local area maintaining customer service standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation
- Preparing concrete mixes and order picking for deliveries
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock both manually and by the safe operation of mechanical handling equipment
- Daily vehicle checks and complying with company procedures and drivers’ regulations
- Complying with health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Class 2 LGV licence essential
- Driver CPC essential
- Customer service skills essential
- Experience in delivery driving and local knowledge desirable
- Health and safety awareness essential
- Product knowledge desirable
- Able to work from collection and delivery tickets and pick orders
- Able to work as part of a team
