Working Hours
Basic 42.5 hours Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Saturday mornings on a rota basis 8:00am to 12:00noon. Stocktake weekend once a year. Some Bank Holidays.
Your Role
- Deliveries to local area maintaining customer service standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Moving stock both manually and by the safe operation of mechanical handling equipment.
- Daily vehicle checks and complying with company procedures and drivers’ regulations.
- Complying with health & safety procedures at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Class 2 LGV licence essential.
- Driver CPC essential.
- Customer service skills essential.
- Experience in delivery driving and local knowledge desirable.
- Health and safety awareness essential.
- Product knowledge desirable.
- Able to work from collection and delivery tickets and pick orders.
- Able to work as part of a team.
