WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. Your duties will include:

Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
-
Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised
-
Cleaning worktops and food preparation areas
-
Supporting chefs and the wider catering team
-
Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
-
Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures
It's a hands-on role where you'll be an important part of the team!
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?
We're looking for candidates who are:

Reliable, punctual and hardworking
-
Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment

Able to work well as part of a team
-
Willing to learn and get stuck in
You'll also need:

An Enhanced DBS check for school-based assignments
-
Two references
-
Food Safety Level 2 certificate, or willingness to obtain one
-
Food Allergen Awareness certificate, or willingness to obtain one
Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant or Catering Assistant is an advantage but isn't essential.
