School Catering Assistant - Rugby
£12.71-£14.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | Monday-Friday | Immediate Start
Berkeley Scott is currently recruiting for a School Catering Assistant in Rugby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous catering or kitchen porter experience who is looking for regular, weekday work within a school environment.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join the team and support the smooth running of school catering services.
What you will be doing

Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals to pupils and staff.

Supporting the kitchen team with daily catering duties.

Washing up and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas.

Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.

Following food allergen procedures to help protect pupils with allergies.

Travelling between locations where necessary as part of the Catering Assistant role.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Catering Assistant or Kitchen Porter.

A valid Enhanced DBS check.

A driving licence is beneficial but not essential, as occasional travel to other locations may be required by the client.

Food Safety Level 2 certificate, or willingness to obtain.

Food Allergen Awareness certificate, or willingness to obtain.

A reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.

The ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
