My clientis currently looking for a talented,enthusiasticand experiencedSousChef to ensure the smooth running of all aspects ofin housefood ata large college in Pontefract, catering for over 2500 students across multiple outlets.

Job Responsibilities

• You will be running shifts and guiding your team when the Head Chef is not present, producingmeals for breakfast,lunchand dinner- soorganisationandthe ability to thrive under pressure isrequired!
• You will beorganisingand supporting your team to ensure a smooth operation daily,allocatingtasks so that your team and timearefullyutilised.
• You will be producing food in line with recipe sheets, and have full knowledge of all menu items served, including allergen information.
• Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage.You will also be placing orders and keeping records of any stock wastage, alongside receivingdeliveries,and ensuring they are storedcorrectly.
• Carrying out deep cleans daily / weekly alongside your team, ensuring all staff are fully trainedontheir sectionsand haveundertakenany relevant training asrequired.

Key Requirements:

• Experienceoperatingat Sous Chef level, ideally in a similar environment or in a similar volume catering operation.
• IT literate
• Passionate about food and people

Salary and Benefits:

The starting salary for this role is £24,575p/a dependant on experience.
