We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support the Head Chef in a busy kitchen operation in Westminster on an ongoing temporary assignment.

Location: Westminster, London

Start: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing until 10th August

Hours: 10 hours per day

Pay: Competitive hourly rate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head Chef with daily food preparation
  • Preparing ingredients, vegetables, salads and basic dishes
  • Assisting with stock rotation and storage
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
  • Washing kitchen equipment and keeping workstations clean
  • Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

Requirements:

  • Previous Kitchen Assistant or Food Preparation experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Reliable, punctual and proactive
  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
  • Allergens Certificate
  • Health & Safety Level 2 Certificate
  • Right to work in the UK
