What You\'ll Be Doing

• Supporting the catering team with daily food preparation

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals

• Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organised

• Washing up and completing general kitchen duties

• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures

• Helping ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently

As a Kitchen Assistant, you\'ll help create a clean, organised and efficient environment while supporting the wider catering team throughout the school day.

Requirements

• Previous catering or Kitchen Assistant experience is desirable

• Enhanced DBS required

• 2 references required

• Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen Certificates required, or willingness to obtain

• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Able to work well as part of a team

• Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
