What You'll Be Doing
As a School Catering Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for students and staff.
- Supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation.
- Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and hygienic.
- Replenishing food and drink supplies during service.
- Providing a friendly and professional service to students, staff, and visitors.
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen and dining environment.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (required).
- Food Safety Level 2 Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Food Allergen Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Two professional references.
