We are looking for experienced Chinese and South East Asian Cuisine Chefs to support a professional kitchen team with an upcoming Chinese food presentation and additional catering requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled chefs with strong, hands-on experience in authentic Chinese cooking and a good understanding of South East Asian flavours and techniques.
The Role
- Prepare and cook authentic Chinese and South East Asian dishes to a high standard.
- Support the existing kitchen team with food preparation and presentation.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of traditional ingredients, flavours and cooking techniques.
- Deliver consistent quality in a busy professional kitchen.
- Assist with an upcoming Chinese food presentation.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience cooking Chinese cuisine is essential.
- Experience with other South East Asian cuisines, such as Thai, Vietnamese or Malaysian, is advantageous.
- Confident with traditional cooking techniques, including wok cooking, stir-frying, steaming and preparing authentic sauces.
- Strong attention to detail, flavour and presentation.
- Previous experience in restaurants, hotels or professional catering kitchens.
- Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
- Valid Food Safety Level 2 and Allergen Awareness certificates.
- Right to work in the UK.
