We are looking for an experienced Bakery Operations Assistant to join a busy, well-established bakery in North London.

This is a hands-on role combining bakery operations, food preparation, product handling and customer service. You will need to be comfortable supporting all areas of the bakery during busy periods.

THE ROLE

• Assist with the daily running of a busy bakery.

• Prepare, package and display freshly baked products.

• Serve customers, take orders and operate the till.

• Support food preparation and general bakery duties.

• Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays.

• Keep workstations, equipment and service areas clean and organised.

• Maintain excellent food hygiene and allergen standards.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a bakery, café, deli or food retail environment is essential.

• Confident handling food and assisting with bakery operations.

• Good customer service and communication skills.

• Comfortable working across different areas of the bakery.

• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.

• Reliable, flexible and hardworking.

• Available for an immediate start.
