Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to the required standards.
- Managing and maintaining your designated section of the kitchen.
- Ensuring food is prepared and served consistently, efficiently, and on time.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
- Monitoring stock levels, assisting with deliveries, and minimising food waste.
- Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Following all food hygiene, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen role.
- A minimum of 6 months' kitchen experience in the UK is essential.
- A clean Enhanced DBS check for the Child Workforce, or willingness to obtain one.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene, food preparation, and kitchen safety standards.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- A passion for food quality, consistency, and presentation.
