Berkeley-Scott is recruiting experienced Chef Managers to join our busy agency team for a variety of catering assignments starting in September.
Working across schools in Cambridge and with a range of catering companies, you'll enjoy the flexibility of agency work while leading kitchen teams and delivering high-quality food service in a variety of settings.
Pay: £22.00 per hour
What you'll be doing:
- Managing the day-to-day running of busy catering kitchens.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering fresh, nutritious, high-quality meals.
- Leading, motivating, and supporting kitchen teams to deliver excellent service.
- Managing stock, ordering, budgets, and food costs.
- Ensuring compliance with all food hygiene, health and safety, and allergen regulations.
- Building strong relationships with clients and maintaining high catering standards.
What we're looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar catering management role.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Two professional references.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and adapt to different sites.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage, although this is not essential.
