Temporary Chef Opportunity | Daytime Hours | Enhanced Child Workforce DBS Required
Berkeley Scott is currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Chef to support a busy catering operation in the Beaconsfield area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, maintaining high standards, and delivering quality food in a professional catering environment. You'll be joining an established team and will be expected to work efficiently while ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting fresh meals to a high standard
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures are followed
- Managing stock effectively and minimising waste where possible
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Working as part of a kitchen team to deliver a consistent and professional service
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen
- A good understanding of food safety and allergen management
- The ability to work independently and remain organised during busy service periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, flexible, and reliable approach to work
DBS Requirement
A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate for the Child Workforce is essential for this position.

- Applications will only be considered from candidates who already hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS.
- Candidates registered on the DBS Update Service are highly desirable.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to place candidates who do not have the appropriate Child Workforce DBS clearance.

7:30am - 3:00pm
