Catering Assistant Responsibilities
As a Catering Assistant, your duties may include:
- Basic food preparation
- Serving food and drinks
- Supporting chefs and the wider catering team
- Setting up and clearing down service areas
- Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic
- Restocking food, drinks and catering supplies
- Following food hygiene and allergen procedures
- Following health & safety procedures
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for experienced Catering Assistants who are:
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Experienced within catering, hospitality or food service
- Comfortable working in busy catering environments
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledgeable about food hygiene and health & safety
- Friendly with good communication skills
- Flexible and hardworking
Drivers are preferred but not essential.
