Role Description
The Field Services Engineer is a full-time, field service role.
This role involves installing, commissioning, and servicing waste compaction equipment at customer locations.
Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing repairs, carrying out preventive maintenance, and documenting all work completed.
The Field Services Engineer collaborates closely with customers to provide technical guidance, ensure safe operation of equipment, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
The role also involves liaising with internal teams to report recurring issues and support continuous product improvement.
We are looking for strategically placed engineers in the North East, North West, and Midlands areas.
Qualifications
- Strong Field Service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and repair of industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience performing Preventive Maintenance to improve reliability and reduce equipment downtime.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build positive relationships.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or similar).
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, and follow safety procedures and compliance standards.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites within the region.
