Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week at our laboratory office in Ossett or other sites across the region as required.

Work type: Permanent, 4 days on/4 days off, avg. 37 hours per week.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Quality Sampling Coordinator to join the Water Quality Compliance team, helping Yorkshire Water provide the best service to our customers.

What we do: Yorkshire Water supplies safe drinking water and removes wastewater for over 5.4 million people in the region. We protect the environment, plan for the future and comply with strict water quality regulations. New legislation and investment create exciting opportunities within the industry.

Where you will fit in: As our Water Quality Sampling Coordinator, you will work in a small team of four on a 4‑on, 4‑off rota and:

  • Deliver coordinated output of the regional water quality sampling teams.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with the regulatory sampling programme through proactive and reactive resource management.
  • Make sound decisions to maximise efficiency.
  • Serve as a key water quality sampling contact for the sampling teams and wider business.
  • Support the day‑to‑day health.
