We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Interruptions Manager to join the Water Service Delivery team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Responsibilities
As a Water Supply Interruptions Lead, you will be responsible for driving improvements in performance by developing and implementing robust operational delivery plans. You\’\’ll ensure enhanced data provision for Supply Interruptions Reviews and establish sustainable end-to-end processes for collecting and analysing data, enabling accurate reporting and a deeper understanding of the impact of interruption events. Your work will be critical in supporting Yorkshire Water\’\’s commitment to delivering reliable service and improving customer outcomes.
- Responsible for developing, implementing, managing the Operational elements of the Interruptions review process to enhance reporting accuracy in accordance with regulatory reporting guidelines
- Lead the Water Supply Interruptions Governance Framework to ensure Critical Factor identification and intervention to maximise performance
- Further develop and own the Water Supply Interruptions turnaround plan to drive Strategic improvements to enable better incident response
- Work with colleagues in Engineering to identify causal drivers of Network and Asset failure and formulate controls and initiatives to reduce failure likelihood and impact
- Work with Operational and Engineering colleagues to identify resilience risks and formulate and record contingency plans to enable improved incident response – driving learning from incident reviews into the teams involved in E2E response and to improve performance and incident response
- Work with colleagues in Central Control to create and operate BCP plans and Incident Management processes to provide an effective means of managing emergency supply interruption events
- To work with Internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and new technology deployment to enhance incident response and to improve our understanding of Asset criticality and operational and performance risks
- To ensure that YW\’\’s Health and Safety strategy is embedded throughout the E2E response to interruption events and that Health, Safety and Wellbeing of colleagues and customers always remains our clear priority over and above operational and ODI performance
Qualifications & Skills
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- Leadership skills, experience of leading high performing teams
- Experienced in operations and engineering disciplines (e.g. Incident response, Emergency Planning, Resource Deployment, Hydraulic Modelling and Engineering Principles)
- Ability to build business case for change and to measure and monitor cost to serve.
- A natural problem solver who seeks innovative customer and colleague focused solutions to complex problems.
- The ability to confidently and effectively communicate with various audiences.
- High-level health & safety knowledge and policy application.
- Clearly demonstrates the Yorkshire Water company values and behaviours and all aspects of the Responsible Leader Framework.
- A valid UK driving licence.
