Location: West Yorkshire / Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office a week - Bradford - Relocating to Leeds 2026)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior SAP Consultant to join the IT team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Are you an SAP ALM expert ready to make a real impact? We're looking for someone with strong SAP Solution Manager and Cloud ALM experience to drive best practice change management, monitoring, and governance across our SAP landscape. If you bring hands-on CHARM, TMS, and Retrofit expertise, understand S/4HANA and BTP environments, and can translate technical processes into clear, practical solutions, we want to hear from you.

Where you fit in: As our Senior SAP Consultant, you will:

• Configure and support key SAP Solution Manager components, including CHARM/cCHARM, ITSM, Solution Documentation, System and Technical Monitoring, and Business Process Monitoring.
• Manage system landscapes through LMDB, SLD, connectivity setup, and overall configuration.
• Handle upgrades, FPS/SP deployments, and ongoing lifecycle maintenance while ensuring alignment with governance and audit standards.
• Lead end-to-end CHARM configuration, workflow design, multi-track transport processes, and continuous enhancements.
• Maintain and support Retrofit, resolve CHARM issues, and uphold change governance, compliance, and traceability.
• Configure and support SAP Cloud ALM across Change & Deployment Management, Monitoring & Observability, Business Process Management, Project/Task Management, and Test Management.
• Integrate Cloud ALM with S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and hybrid systems, building dashboards, KPIs, alerts, and monitoring frameworks.
• Support transitions from Solution Manager to Cloud ALM and advise on Cloud ALM roadmaps, adoption, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with BASIS, Development, Security, PMO, and Functional teams, providing guidance on ALM processes, governance, and transport strategy.
• Produce high-quality documentation, user guidance, training materials, and support release planning, cutover activities, and audits.
• Continuously improve ALM processes, strengthen compliance and internal controls, enhance transparency and reporting, and support automation and integration initiatives.

What skills & qualifications you will need:

• Minimum 5 years' hands-on SAP Solution Manager experience, including CHARM/ TMS, and Retrofit.
• Practical experience with SAP Cloud ALM, covering change management, monitoring, alerts, KPIs, dashboards, and system integration.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and core SAP BASIS concepts.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical topics and produce clear documentation.
• Proven problem-solving ability with a pragmatic approach to governance and process design.
• Desirable knowledge of SAP architecture, transport management, system logs, patching, SLD/LMDB, and SAP security.
• Able to collaborate closely with BASIS on refreshes, client strategy, dual track development, and Retrofit activities.
