We have an exciting opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join the Maintenance Design and Assurance Team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers.

As a Reliability Engineer within the Maintenance Design and Assurance Team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of asset performance and reliability. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise to ensure that critical operational assets are maintained with precision - delivering the right maintenance at the right time. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing compliance, reliability, resilience, and sustainability, all while supporting customer and stakeholder expectations.
Where you fit in: As our Reliability Engineer you will:
- Be responsible for developing, implementing and optimising Above Ground, Below Ground and Nature Based Solution asset specific equipment maintenance strategies and overall asset technical practices and standards in line with requirements from the Principal Engineers.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the asset preventative maintenance program for Above Ground, Below Ground and Nature based Solution assets.
- Compile and maintain asset criticality and equipment risk registers.
- Be the instrumental lead in reviewing Above Ground, Below Ground and Nature Based Solution assets maintenance performance and reliability data to identify critical assets/risks to the business and instigate RCA's for short, medium, and long-term issue resolution.
- Develop, implement and maintain key reliability improvement processes across the YW electrical Assets - including RCM, Criticality Analysis, RCFA investigation.
