Location
This role will initially be based in Bradford but will move to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026. Hybrid working: 1 to 2 office days a week.
Work type
Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

We provide essential water and wastewater services to the Yorkshire region, protecting communities, the environment and ensuring clean drinking water. We are growing our Commercial – Operations capability to meet evolving customer and regulatory expectations.
Where you fit in
As our Contract Coordinator, you will:
- Support the delivery of safe, high‑quality and commercially effective services.
- League contracts smoothly, balancing performance, value and compliance.
- Assist in the administration of frameworks and contracts, managing specifications, variations, risks and quality.
- Prepare commercial data and financial reports with care and accuracy.
- Offer technical and data support to colleagues and partner teams.
- Build and nurture relationships with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of safety, wellbeing and high standards.
- Align day‑to‑day decisions with financial and business goals.
- Support commercial processes such as mini tenders where required.
- Maintain excellent customer service during busy or challenging periods.
- Provide flexible support across wider Contract Management teams.
- Coordinate meetings and keep communication flowing smoothly.
- Contribute to audit and assurance activities.
- Show enthusiasm, accountability and a proactive approach to shared success.
What skills & qualifications you will need
- Experience with financial processes, such as budget tracking or cost awareness.
- Background in a commercially focused environment or exposure to commercial processes.
- Adaptability and support in times of change.
- Clear and confident communication with people at all levels.
- Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Reflection of Yorkshire Water's values and ways of working in all actions.
- Understanding of how the role contributes to wider team and business objectives.

Flexible Working
We embrace a flexible working model. Hybrid: an average of 1–2 days in the office per week, with occasional additional days for collaboration, training or meeting deadlines.
