Product Owner in Ledston

Location: Leeds Valley Park / hybrid working, 1 day a week in the office.

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner to join the PMO Team in Asset Delivery at Yorkshire Water. The role combines end-to-end product ownership with hands-on insight delivery, ensuring outputs are translated into clear, actionable intelligence that improves programme certainty, strengthens risk management and supports timely decision making. We are committed to delivering essential water and wastewater services across the Yorkshire region, protecting communities and the environment. This role sits within the Asset Delivery Team and helps meet the evolving expectations of customers and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Product ownership: own and communicate the product vision and roadmap for digital products on behalf of Yorkshire Water.
• Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, balancing stakeholder needs, programme priorities, technical constraints and value.
• Act as the primary decision maker for product configuration, reporting views, enhancements and usage patterns.
• Coordinate releases, testing, configuration changes and refinements with internal teams and the supplier.
• Manage day-to-day supplier engagement, including issue resolution, prioritised requests and continuous improvement.
• Produce meaningful insights from the product and ensure that delivered features create value in the business.
