Location: We have an exciting opportunity for a Lubrication Technician to join the Operations and Maintenance Team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. The role is a mobile worker working across the West Yorkshire region covering Huddersfield, Halifax and Brighouse.
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Where you fit in: As our Lubrication Technician you will require physical stamina as often you will work in physically demanding environments and may need to lift or carry heavy items.
Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with other workers and supervisors.
Teamwork: Working effectively with other team members to ensure that equipment is properly maintained.
What skills & experience you will need:
- Applying lubricants: You will apply various types of lubricants, including oils, greases, and other specialized fluids, to different parts of machinery and equipment.
- Maintaining equipment: You will ensure that equipment is properly lubricated, which helps prevent wear and tear, reduces friction, and extends the lifespan of machinery.
- Troubleshooting: You will be involved in diagnosing and addressing lubrication-related issues or problems.
- Record-keeping: You will keep records of lubrication activities, including the types of lubricants used, the frequency of lubrication, and any issues encountered.
- Knowledge of equipment: You will need to be knowledgeable about the types of equipment they are working on and the specific lubrication requirements of each piece of equipment.
- Safety: You must follow safety protocols and procedures when handling lubricants and working with machinery.
