Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Optimize and tune existing data systems for enhanced performance.
  • Gather visualization requirements from stakeholders and create effective solutions.
  • Utilize DAX functions for complex data calculations and transformations.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
  • Implement best practices in data modeling for accuracy and reliability.
  • Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand data visualizations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in data visualization to continuously improve capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or Java.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining data lakes.
