Dog Grooming Assistant (Sally Wags) in Northwood

SW Dog Groomers are looking for an apprentice to join their salon. Offering a bespoke grooming service in a calm, stress-free environment, to ensure the happiness of both staff and dogs!

Duties will include but not limited to:Clean & sanitise the salon and daycare areas

• Play with and exercise dogs in our daycare
• Assess dogs before grooming
• Assist with grooming and salon upkeep
• Assist customers and help out in our retail shop
• Be part of a supportive, friendly team

Desired Skills & Qualities

• have a passion for animals
• have an interest in pursuing dog grooming as a career
• have excellent communication and customer service skills

Desired Qualifications

• Applicants must not already hold a level 2 or higher in dog grooming.

Training Provided

• Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
• The applicant will be working towards a Level 2 Dog Grooming Apprenticeship
• The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
