We are a family run business est 20 years providing bespoke doggy daycare and grooming.
Within our commercial set up we offer a variety of different zones to allow the dogs to have many adventures, these include a puppy zone, Sniffari area and the exciting Jurassic Bark playzone.
Enrichment activities play a crucial part within the daycare role along with ensuring the health and safety of all our dogs.
This role is for a Doggy daycare assistant providing the best care for dogs by creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they can thrive physically, mentally, and socially.
Applicants must have good attention to detail regarding day to day cleanliness of the site and each zone.

When greeting owners always ensuring exceptional customer service.
The person must be a dog enthusiast, have great customer service skills, be physically fit ready to be on your feet and outdoors at times and have great organisation.
Duties include but not limited to;
- Supervising all activities including general play and ensure the dogs interact with each other appropriately
- Walking dogs as required
- Supervision and creation of mental and physical enrichment games
- Preparing lunches and feed for dogs and puppies
- Cleaning duties including hygienic cleaning of urine and faeces when accidents occur inside the crèche and also general cleaning tasks end of day.
- General admin duties including answering of the phone and diary duties.
- Greeting dogs and owners at the start of sessions and taking them out to their owners at the end.
Candidates must be prepared to provide feedback to owners constructively if required.
- Candidates must be prepared to follow usual health and safety guidelines and work within the terms of our day care licence conditions, to ensure highest standards of care and welfare of the dogs at all times.

- Become a permanent daycare assistant and we have varied roles: Social media, driver, supervisors and managers
- Training
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards and a Level 2 Animal Care & Welfare Assistant Apprenticeship
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
- The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship

- Successful applicants will start this role in October 2026
- Animal roles often require applicants to be active all day, can be very mucky and working outside in all weathers.

- The apprentice will be working to build a portfolio of evidence and will be required to pass an End Point Assessment (EPA) to complete the apprenticeship.
