K9 Kuts are looking for an apprentice to join their salon. Offering a bespoke grooming service in a calm, stress-free environment, to ensure the happiness of both staff and dogs!Dogs are at the heart of what we do – Our main priority is to ensure that your pooch is pampered and cared for during their time at K9 Kuts. As dog lovers, we strive to ensure that our grooming service puts your dog in the spotlight at all of our salons so all of our attention can be focused on them.K9 Kuts services are always provided in fully equipped, clean, safe & professional salons. Our therapists are fully trained in all aspects of dog grooming so you can be sure that your loved pet is left in good hands.Our Droitwich dog grooming salon is situated inside the newly refurbished Just for Pets with Doodles Barn. It has a car park to the rear and is next to the Waitrose store and on the opposite side of the Saltways Road to the canal. Our friendly, dog loving staff will greet you and pamper your dog to a high standard and always happy to offer advice to owners if needed.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Clean & sanitise the salon and daycare areas
- Assess dogs before grooming
- Assist with grooming and salon upkeep
- Assist customers and bookings
- Styling and grooming all breeds
- Be part of a supportive, friendly team
- Assist in ultrasound teeth treatment
Their previous apprentice went on to achieve their apprenticeship with a high grade! There is also the potential for the successful apprentice to have a full time position at the salon on completion of their apprenticeship.

Desired Qualifications
- Applicants must not already hold a level 2 or higher in dog grooming to be eligible.
Training Provided
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards a Level 2 Dog Grooming Apprenticeship
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
