THE PURPOSE This role is dedicated exclusively to Edgbaston Stadium, acting as the lead for all partnership strategy and relationship management at the venue on behalf of Keith Prowse. As Partnerships Manager, you will ensure client satisfaction, ensuring contract renewals and contributing to the organisation’s overall success, while also acting as the sales lead for Edgbaston, working collaboratively with internal leads across Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align on commercial targets and goals. You will deliver an exceptional end-to-end experience for our partner (Edgbaston), driving revenue growth and ensuring all Keith Prowse’s commercial opportunities are maximised and objectives are met through strategic planning and execution.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Strategic Partnership Management
    • Serving as the lead commercial relationship owner for Keith Prowse at Edgbaston.
    • Managing the full lifecycle of the partnership, from onboarding and delivery to renewal.
    • Conducting annual SWOT analyses with key stakeholders to inform bespoke activation and retention strategies.
    • Representing partners confidently in high-level internal and external meetings, including board-level discussions.
    • Maintaining expert-level understanding of partner contracts, deliverables, and key performance metrics.
    • Collaborating with key personnel to establish and maintain strong relationships across all areas of the partnership.
  • Growth & Retention Strategy
    • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with partner goals and the Keith Prowse commercial calendar.
    • Using CRM and Power BI tools to track and report performance, ensuring accountability across teams.
    • Leveraging data and market insights to recommend improvements and drive incremental value.
    • Monitoring industry trends and proactively responding to shifting client needs or risks.
    • Developing time-bound, actionable plans to support renewals and long-term partnership success.
    • Collaborating with Finance, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to agree targets and pace by sales channel (by tournament and by fixture).
    • Agreeing on CRM opportunity and pipeline strategy prior to going on sale.
  • Internal Collaboration & Leadership
    • Acting as the sales lead for Edgbaston, working closely with internal leads across Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
    • Aligning sales strategy with campaign delivery, event operations, and financial forecasting to ensure a seamless commercial approach.
    • Working closely with the Head of Sales on the creation and implementation of sales strategy.
    • Leading sales and partnership planning at the venue level, ensuring full alignment on targets, timelines, and activation strategies.
    • Representing Keith Prowse’s commercial interests in cross-functional planning and performance meetings.
    • Managing the Keith Prowse dedicated Edgbaston sales resource.
    • Delivering clear communication across all Keith Prowse sales functions in a timely manner.
    • Understanding, driving, and supporting the broader Keith Prowse strategy.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Proven experience in partnership, sponsorship, or commercial account management, ideally within sport, events, or hospitality.
  • A strong background in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and contract execution.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and analytical tools, particularly Power BI.
  • The ability to present confidently, with experience engaging clients at board level.
  • Commercial acumen with a strong grasp of sales, marketing, and operational alignment.
