Overview
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about engineering and is keen to learn.
Whether you have a background in Design & Technology, have worked on vehicles, carried out DIY projects or simply have a passion for engineering, we’d love to hear from you.
Wage
£15,600 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. Minimum wage rates begin at £8.00 per hour, reviewed after 6 months.

Monday – Friday. 37 hours 30 minutes a week.

- What you’ll do at work
- Assist with Maintenance & Facilities team.
- Work with team leaders and managers.
- Maintain weld booths, prep bays, test bays and air line repairs as required.
- Clean weld, prep and test bays.
- Clean & repair weld sets, hand tools, ducting and lights.
- Repair and replace air lines, welder torches and hand tools in bays.
- Help maintain the PPM schedule on machinery.
- Assist with upkeep of building and grounds.
- Assist maintenance in machinery repairs.
- Learn new skills and techniques on mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Assist in different aspects of joinery, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work.
- Assist contractors on site.
- Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs.
- Maintain machinery, tools and site facilities.
- Work closely with colleagues, managers and external contractors to ensure the business operates safely and efficiently.
