TPT Investment Management are seeking an enthusiastic and analytical Investment Analyst to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic investment analysis to support TPTIM’s objectives and contribute to the development and delivery of our investment services. You will play a key part in ensuring our processes and strategies enable effective decision‑making and support our mission to deliver value to our clients.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Assisting with portfolio management activities and contributing to the development, implementation, and maintenance of TPTIM’s investment strategy.
- Contributing to asset and manager research activities within the Investment Team.
- Assisting in the evaluation and selection of investment managers by analysing performance, risk characteristics, ESG integration, and alignment with TPTIM’s investment objectives.
- Encouraging new ideas and constructively challenging existing processes and approaches to foster continuous improvement.
- Supporting new business activities through insightful analysis to inform investment strategy development.
- Supporting the Investment Management Team in the day‑to‑day oversight of portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and client requirements.
Governance and Reporting:
- Documenting analytical work to ensure clear audit trails and accessible, well‑organised data storage.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of our reporting processes to enhance quality, consistency, and timeliness for both internal and external stakeholders.
Professional Development:
- Demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional growth by engaging in training and sharing knowledge with team members.
Skills & Experience, We Are Looking For:
- Experience within a fiduciary management team, in‑house occupational pension schemes investment team, investment consulting or asset management.
- Knowledge of UK DB liabilities and regulations.
- Data analysis, portfolio management, portfolio implementation and asset manager research skills.
- Understanding and experience of working with different asset classes.
- Individuals with a passion for investment analysis, and a keen interest in supporting effective decision‑making and continuous improvement.
- Experience of investment systems, including modelling, portfolio, and reporting tools, is desirable.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
