We are looking for a Graduate Research and Development Engineer with passion for audio and music to join our R&D team on a permanent basis. Location: ME15 6QP, Maidstone, Kent, UK Education: Bachelors, Masters graduate degree in an appropriate technical discipline such as Electro-Acoustics, Acoustical Engineering or Physics. Key responsibilities: Development of loudspeaker systems, transducers and headphones. Research on related topics. Requirements: Understanding of loudspeaker theory. Passionate about sound quality and skilled in critical listening. Methodical and scientific approach to any technical problem. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Ability to innovate and bring new ideas into products. Experienced in computer modelling and acoustic measurement. Some experience with Matlab, Python, C, C++ or other suitable technical programming language. CAD competence in 2D or 3D. Extra points if you have: Experience designing loudspeaker or headphone drivers. Experience using FEA and Non-linear modelling and analysis. Knowledge of advanced materials. Knowledge of listening room acoustics. Ability to source and recommend new materials for audio transducers and enclosures.
