Main purpose of the role
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Design Manager to join us, to manage and coordinate the delivery of all Design/Planning related matters for our South West region, based from the office in Bristol. Reporting to the Technical Director; they will ensure full profit optimisation, alignment and coordination of all Site Constraints and Engineering issues at all key Pre Development stages of the development. They will assist in gathering information for CAPEX 1 and 2 plus all associated information to support PCI packs to Commercial. They will be responsible for the management, coordination and updating of the Pre Development Tracker ensuring that all department procedures are adhered to and the required drawings are provided to the agreed dates.
They are a straightforward and skilled communicator, who is creative and experienced with generating new ideas within architectural and engineering functions. They will be passionate about the construction/development industry with strong experience within it. The postholder will be an established collaborative leader with the ability to build strong relationships through ability to work cross functionally to achieve successful outcomes and inspire, motivate and develop team members.
