We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Coordinator to join our Technical Team in our East Midlands region, based from our regional office in Nottingham. The role is full‑time and permanent.

Purpose

The main purpose of the Senior Technical Coordinator role is to coordinate all design information between external consultants and internal departments, ensuring that all approvals are obtained in a timely manner and that high quality and correct information is issued to other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Duties stretch from site feasibility stage throughout the sites development and to completion and handover to the relevant authorities/discharge of obligations.
  • The postholder will also produce accurate and timely reports for the business and check the adequacy, accuracy and commercial suitability of information flowing through the department.
  • They will collate design information for procurement tenders, work to resolve construction issues and provide live site support.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction/development industry.
  • Up‑to‑date relevant knowledge of building legislation.
  • Sound knowledge of architectural and engineering functions and ideally some experience of partnership agreements.
  • Strong communication, problem solving and leadership abilities, with the ability to build cross‑functional relationships.
  • Flexible to attend site visits throughout the region; willing to work flexibly to support site needs.
  • HNC / HND / Degree in Building, Civil Engineering or Architectural Design.
  • A company car or car allowance will be provided.
