Great homes start with great people. At Keepmoat our purpose is clear, we create communities and transform lives. Every year we build thousands of high-quality homes that help more people and families find a place to call their own.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for talented people who want to do meaningful work, develop their careers and help shape the future of housebuilding.

We have an exciting brand new oportunity for a Finance Manager to join our growing Scottish region, based from our new regional Head Office in Bellshill, to the East of Glasgow. This role will form part of our Scotland regional Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Regional Finance Director to contribute to strong financial controls; including providing financial management information to support decision making and future forecasting. They will be an active member of the regional team and viewed as a trusted financial expert and business partner.

Key accountabilities will include producing accurate and timely management accounts, forecasts, and cashflow projections, with clear insight into performance and emerging risks and opportunities. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, the Finance Manager will challenge assumptions, support robust decision-making and help maximise profitability and cash generation across the region. The role will also provide clear analysis of sales prices, development costs and site margins, support appropriate blended margin profit recognition, and drive continuous improvement in financial controls, processes and reporting across the business.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for someone operating at Finance Manager level, an experienced Management Accountant looking for a step up, or someone with relevant experience looking to make their first move from practice into a commercially focused regional finance role. They will embody our Keepmoat values; a straightforward communicator at all levels, who can translate financial information to a variety of different stakeholders. They will be creative with the ability to think strategically, and to work under pressure to given deadlines. They will be passionate about presenting accurate and timely financial information to enable the business to achieve its targets. They will be collaborative, with the ability to build strong relationships across the regional business and contribute positively to a high-performing finance team.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, ideally with at least 1-2 years post-qualified experience. They will have experience of delivering accurate, timely and concise reporting, supported by strong analytical skills and a sound understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial governance.

Experience in a similar role within Housebuilding is highly desirable but not essential, as is experience of working within a regional or commercially focused finance team.
