We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our regional head office near Glasgow. The successful candidate will manage all surveying activities on a number of high-risk/complex housing developments from the initial procurement phase through to final account, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role involves travel within the Scotland region.
Responsibilities
- Set, monitor and deliver project budgets.
- Place orders and produce accurate, timely reports for the business.
- Forecast costs of materials required for builds.
- Liaise with subcontractors, site staff and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members in partnership with the Commercial Manager.
- Takes care of personal and others’ health and safety, adhering to Keepmoat Health, Safety and Sustainability standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant industry qualifications: RICS and a surveying degree or HND.
- Full Driver’s License.
