We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our North West region. The main base will be from our regional office in Speke, due to the nature of the role it will involve some travel throughout the region. The successful candidate will work as part of the Commercial Team, surveying activities on a number of standard developments from the initial procurement phase through to final account in full compliance with the company's policies and procedures.
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be involved in the following activities:
- Compiling documentation such as site start budgets
- Producing various reports and schedules
- Facilitating the payment of subcontractors
- Monitoring and control of variations and customer extras and filing
- Maintaining effective communication and delivering positive outcomes for external and internal customers

Skills, knowledge & experience

They will be solutions focused and work in a straightforward way to ensure the commercial team meets its targets. A high level of computer literacy in MS Office is essential, as is a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel within the region.
Education & qualifications
The successful candidate will either be working towards or hold the relevant industry requirements; RICS and a surveying degree or HND.
