Keep Safe & Secure LTD is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to support our continued national growth.

We provide a range of services across the UK, including

  • Security Guarding
  • Waking Watch and Fire Safety Services

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development professional with a strong track record in security, facilities management, commercial cleaning, fire safety, remote CCTV monitoring or a closely related service sector.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with key decision-makers and securing high-value service contracts across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and secure new business opportunities nationwide.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers across the commercial, industrial, construction, retail, logistics, healthcare, education and public sectors.
  • Identify opportunities across our security, cleaning, CCTV, concierge and waking watch services.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement through to contract award.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events and industry exhibitions.
  • Prepare proposals, tenders, presentations and commercial quotations.
  • Work closely with our operational teams to ensure the successful mobilisation of new contracts.
  • Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline using CRM systems.
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets.

About You

To be considered for this role, you should have

  • At least three years of business development or sales experience.
  • A proven record of winning service contracts within security guarding, facilities management, commercial cleaning, fire safety, event security or remote CCTV solutions.
  • Experience securing contracts with an annual value of approximately £500,000–£1 million or more.
  • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a national territory.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly Desirable
  • Existing relationships with FM managers, procurement teams, property managers, construction companies, housing associations, logistics operators, local authorities or corporate organisations.
  • Experience selling manned guarding or commercial cleaning contracts.
  • Experience selling remote CCTV monitoring solutions.
  • Experience preparing and winning competitive tender submissions.
  • A background with a security company, FM provider, commercial cleaning contractor, fire and security provider, CCTV monitoring company or integrated FM business.

  • What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will be expected to build a strong, qualified sales pipeline, develop strategic relationships with key buyers and procurement teams, and begin securing opportunities across two or more of our service lines.

Important: This position requires relevant industry experience selling service contracts.
