Keep It Cool, Bradford, are looking for additional support in the form of a part time Transport Administrator/ Planner.

Whilst the role is to begin as part-time, we are searching for someone who would ultimately like to increase their hours, and develop their career, as they grow with the business.

For example, someone looking to move back into a transport career but currently also juggling childcare responsibilities and school hours.

We can be very flexible in terms of the hours worked as we want the right person to really help, support and be instrumental in the company’s continued growth.

As well as traditional transport admin/ operations duties you will also liaise with customers and drivers and directly support the Senior Operations Planner.

The role is varied, will cover some planning responsibilities and will also include elements of transport, accounts and marketing.

The right personality and character for this role will be first and foremost as you will be dealing with customers and drivers alike and it is very much a “think on your feet” role.

You must be able to multi-task and have great attention to detail.

The successful person will be motivated and a self-starter, able to work independently and have the initiative to proactively manage admin, planning and an array of other issues as they arise.

A good level of English and Maths is a must.

6 months transport experience and a knowledge of driver and vehicle legislation will be beneficial. Any telesales/ call handling experience would be beneficial.

This person will have a friendly phone manner, be willing to help, able to build rapport over the phone and be a reliable and trustworthy individual.

A driving licence will be required due to our location on the Euroway, Bradford.

The role is office-based, Monday to Friday. Part time hours will be a minimum of 15, maximum of 20 initially.

The salary offered will be £28,000, pro rata.
