Keep Education is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Dunstable, supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in students' lives while gaining valuable experience in a supportive, inclusive school environment. The role is flexible, with both full-time and part-time options available, and we’re looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting SEND students in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs
- Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans and activities
- Help with classroom management and ensure students remain engaged in their learning
- Support students’ emotional, social, and behavioural development
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet the needs of each student
