Description
We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Primary Teacher with QTS to deliver PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) cover across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Provide PPA cover for class teachers, ensuring continuity of learning and classroom routines
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit the needs of different year groups and learning styles
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes pupil engagement and behaviour
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff to ensure smooth handovers and consistent pupil support
- Uphold the school\’s safeguarding, behaviour, and equality policies
Experience
- Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally across KS1 and KS2
- Familiarity with PPA cover or multi-year group teaching is advantageous
- Experience working in a mainstream school with diverse pupil needs is beneficial
Skills
- Adaptability and flexibility to teach across different year groups and subjects
- Strong classroom management and behaviour regulation techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and pupils
- Organised, punctual, and able to manage time effectively across multiple classes

Educational requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
