Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to support development
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety requirements
Experience
- Previous teaching experience in a Primary school setting is essential
- Experience across multiple key stages or in SEND/EAL support is desirable but not required
- Experience delivering targeted interventions is advantageous
Skills
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver creative, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all pupils
- Flexible and adaptable to different school environments and teaching styles
Educational requirements
- Evidence of continued professional development is desirable
- Valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
