Showcase Your Experience

Prepare specific examples from your past experience working with children aged 0-5. Whether it's a memorable activity you planned or a challenge you overcame, having these stories ready will help you demonstrate your skills and suitability for the role.

Highlight Your Communication Skills

As a Nursery Nurse, strong communication is key. Be ready to discuss how you build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Think of examples where your communication made a positive impact, whether during playtime or parent meetings.

Emphasise Your Commitment to Safeguarding

Safeguarding is crucial in any nursery setting. Be prepared to talk about your understanding of safeguarding procedures and any relevant training you've undertaken. Showing that you prioritise children's safety and wellbeing will resonate well with the interviewers.
