Plan, deliver, and review creative learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Support children's individual development and well-being through play-based learning.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning and share updates with parents and carers.
Build positive relationships with colleagues, children, and families to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Support with daily routines such as meal times, toileting, and outdoor activities.
Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed.
Experience:
Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting.
Confidence supporting children's learning and development across all EYFS areas.
Proven ability to build supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth understanding of child development and early years practice.
Creative, caring, and enthusiastic approach to early education.
Reliable, organised, and proactive team player.
Educational requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training desirable (or willingness to complete).
