As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering lessons, help pupils with their learning, and provide one-to-one or small group support where needed. This role is ideal for experienced TAs, those looking to gain classroom experience, or individuals passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with learning activities, individually or in small groups
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND pupils
- Maintain records of pupil progress where required
- Ensure the welfare and safety of all pupils
- Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and your Keep Education consultant
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Experience supporting pupils in mainstream or SEND classrooms
- Familiarity with classroom routines and behaviour management
