As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering lessons, help pupils with their learning, and provide one-to-one or small group support where needed. This role is ideal for experienced TAs, those looking to gain classroom experience, or individuals passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with learning activities, individually or in small groups
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
  • Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND pupils
  • Maintain records of pupil progress where required
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of all pupils
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and your Keep Education consultant

Experience

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
  • Experience supporting pupils in mainstream or SEND classrooms
  • Familiarity with classroom routines and behaviour management
